Every closure is a new beginning and as we approach the end of the year, we feel that now is the time to recap season 2022 and share with you our excitement about our plans and news to come in 2023 in Knossos Royal and Knossos Villas, our resorts in Crete.
So let’s see some remarkable events that made us -and we hope you as well- proud!
In our summer season 2022 we welcomed 18.917 guests and we did our best to offer them their dream holiday! Our guests came from 74 different countries and so we have high hopes that the Aldemar word of mouth reached the 7 continents! Guests that visited us in 2022 enjoyed 3 brand new sharing pools that were built in Knossos Royal. Fact which not only created beautiful neighborhoods at the resort, but most importantly the new pools added two new room types that became our guests’ new favorite thing: the Double Bungalow Sharing Pool and the Family Room Sharing Pool, all renovated with a fresh style and just one step away from the swimming pool!
In fact, the above were added to the previous season’s renovations highlighted by the new Mini Club and the fresh and new Snack Restaurant.

We are delighted to announce some fantastic news as both the Beach Restaurant and the Beach Bar in Knossos Royal are going to be completely renovated! Get ready to visit two brand new areas by the beach, fresh and modern, with a minimalist aesthetic and actually two areas that you’ll love for sure!
In addition, one a la carte restaurant is being included to the resort’s offering. The restaurant will be operating in the evening and it will be welcoming guests that wish to enjoy dinner next to beach, in a relaxing atmosphere.
Another new entry that will further enrich your Knossos Royal experience is the new All-inclusive program: the “ALL-IN PLUS”. Plus means addition and advantage, and this is exactly why we decided to name our new program this way. Because it offers our guests the possibility to visit 3 a la carte restaurants for their dinner and 1 a la carte restaurant to enjoy their lunch, in addition to 3 special theme nights at the Main Restaurant during one week. Many options, great gastronomic experiences.
Regarding your stay, extensive refurbishment in all room types is taking place in Knossos Royal, while the Junior Suites of Knossos Villas will be revamped and renovated in 2023. They’ll offer to their guests a unique homey feeling combined with all the facilities and conveniences of a luxury and harmonious resort.
