A Greener Way to Stay: Aldemar Olympian Village Receives the Green Key Certification

At Aldemar Olympian Village, our connection with nature is part of what makes the experience unique. Set along the Ionian Sea, surrounded by the landscape of the Western Peloponnese, our resort has always been closely connected to its natural surroundings.

Today, we are proud to share an important milestone in our ongoing commitment to more responsible hospitality: Aldemar Olympian Village has been awarded the Green Key certification.

What is Green Key?

Green Key is one of the world’s leading sustainability certifications for tourism and hospitality establishments. It recognises properties that meet a comprehensive set of environmental criteria and demonstrate a structured commitment to more sustainable operations.

The certification covers a wide range of areas, including energy and water management, waste reduction, sustainable food practices, environmental awareness, staff engagement and responsible day-to-day operations.

Importantly, Green Key is not simply about introducing a few individual environmental initiatives. It reflects a more holistic approach to the way a hotel operates and its commitment to continuously improving its environmental performance.
