Eight accolades for Aldemar Resorts at Greek Hospitality Awards 2016
Aldemar Resorts was honoured on 22 April with gold and silver awards across eight categories at the Greek Hospitality Awards 2016. The ceremony took place at the Ethniki Conference Center in Athens and was organized by Ethos Media and TIF Helexpo SA. It coincided with the Hospitality Forum & Awards aimed at highlighting ways to boost economic growth for Greek hotels.
Aldemar Vice President, Alexandros Angelopoulos was presented with the highest honour, the “Greek Hospitality Rising Star Distinction”. Mr Angelopoulos as a key figure in Hospitality and Tourism sector was recognized for boosting Greece’s image on the world’s map and creating favourable conditions for growth through the country’s cultural, products and services. Aldemar Resorts collected 8 prestigious awards in total: three gold and five silver .
Aldemar Resorts was crowned as the “Best Greek Excellence in Service Hotel & Resort” and “Best Greek Sustainable Hotel & Resort”.
Aldemar Royal Mare was distinguished in two categories with gold awards:
– “Best Greek Thalasso Resort”, the pioneer of Greek thalassotherapy and decades of winning ‘World’s Leading Thalasso & Spa Center’.
– “Best Greek Hotel & Resort Dining Experience”, for promoting Greece’s culinary culture through the practices of Aldemar’s team of executive chefs and annually hosting the Sympossio Greek Gourmet Touring in 17 countries, the perfect introduction to Greece on a dish.
Aldemar Olympian Village picked up gold for the “Best Greek Beach Resort” and “Best Greek Accessibility Resort” providing the best services and facilities, plus the silver award for “Best Greek Family Resort”.
Aldemar Cetan Village received a silver award for the “Best All inclusive Resort.
